After the quiz was online very long (a trimester), we want to present you the answer. as expected, noone found it. doesn't matter - it was't the aim of the whole thing. it was only for your creativity. The guys who answered with "the water surface" weren't really creative ;).

For remembrance, the riddle was:
"There are three pink elefants. The first eats everything above the water surface, the second everything beneath the water surface. What eats the third?"

But now to the trials:

Method 1: Deny the existence of the (pink) elefants:

• THERE ARE NO PINK ELEFANTS... and thats it!!
• there are no pinkt elefants ^^
• *takes down the pink glasses* *puts on the MIB-glasses* *takes out the neuralizer (also known as "blitzdings")* *clicks* you never gave out a riddle... you never read this e-mail... and you should go to see a doctor for talking about pink elefants
• what the hell are elefants?
• nothing, because there are no pink elefants XD
• nothing, because he doesn't exist. There are no pink elefants, desho ne? ^^

Method 2: Imply cannibalism to the the elefants

• the other elefants
• assuming, there ARE pink elefants, so the poor thing will be either above or beneath the surface, so he probably will be eaten by one of the other elefants ^_^
• nothing, he will be eaten ^^
• the third eats the other ones

Method 3: Be abstract

• his excrements ^^;;;
• nothing ^^
• but there isn't any water on kinmoku, is it??
• chibiusa! one problem solved ^^
• nothing, because he's dead

Method 4: Repeat things, another elefant already eats

• everything on the land ^^
• uhm... everything on the water surface??? ^^°

Method 5: Create new spaces

• all within the water surface

Method 6: Use higher logic

• clearly - the third elefeant eats the bread swimming on the water, which is intended for the birds and now drives around useless... ^-^;
• hmm, this riddle probably aims for a solution a la "ever seen pink elefants?". But because there's said, there ARE pink elefants, it's unimportant, there never were seen pink elekfants in free nature (that doesn't excludes the their existence). And therefore, i'd like to try it with bananas. Then these grow above land and not above water. Except, the plantages are flooded... :)
• the third elefant eats everything, he gets lust for... *drops* or he drinks the whole water... then everything belongs to him ^-^

So... who cares for the right answer after these interesting trials? ^^
